about

The groove of this tune was first inspired from one of the tunes on Miles Davis' "Jack Johnson" album. Having morphed when adding the bridge from Nate Burgos (co-arranger), but took on a life of it's own with the addition of the great Abe Laboriel. Having the legendary Ira Sullivan play trumpet on this was mind boggling and obviously very "Miles-esque", and the only tune on the record I'm playing EWI. Sure hope you enjoy this one!
