El is an award-winning acoustic guitarist, and Ed is a Blues Hall of Famer, who has played with many bands, including those of Maynard Ferguson and Frank Sinatra.

All tracks have El on steel-string guitar, tuned CGDGAD, bass to treble, capoed at various positions on the neck. Ed plays various instruments on the tracks, including soprano sax, alto sax, tenor sax, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, and oboe (Akai EWI 1000 for playing/controlling Yamaha VL-70 for the oboe).
